Statement
Between
In that instant when the beauty queen strikes the perfect pose and the jouvert player strikes perfect abandonment, a sparkle of mystery sizzles across the space between them and me. What resin can capture this moment, to cement it in time and space, to give it a name, an understanding, a map to find my way there once again. Then between the work and you, will that longing and inscrutability refuse to go away? Between the inhale and the exhale, a pause of recognition.
